Free to explore a day in the life of…

Un-sweated warmth, haze, I am disappointed.

Elbow pain, neck crick.

You see your teacher, climbing along your neighbours’ windowsill.

The sizzling pain of a distant pan,

Is straddled by the pig, of a faraway land.

Slightly fishy in scent– smoking through your hallway…

And rippling under your door.

Your teacher is now standing on his head,

Like Cheshire in the tree.

Kissing your auntie, who is jumping at the window-sill

Like your old cat used to do many moons ago.

Your day has begun,

Drip…drip… drop.

The bacon sandwich is the most orgasmic sandwich you’ve ever eaten

Out the window and into the furry trapdoor of your Car.

Are we sitting comfortably? Yes

I nestle myself amongst some old school friends and laugh

As we sing along to the vinyl he has just fed into the cd hole.

The car gallops down the ash-path.

As I grab hold of an intestine for safety

Safety first!

The same grey morning, routine is never-changing

I swallow through my thirsty minefield of saliva

My nose hurts, no air is getting through– It’s a serious problem

I can’t be late for my swimming seminar at Wembley.

I cough in the nest of warmth and reach for my phone

I should arrive soon– where is the arch.

The phone reads…

SHIT– I’ve missed work again.
