We were all happy,
To be each others soul mate,
We made love...
It was good,
And we enjoyed it.
We had fallen in love
Quickly before we knew it–
We couldn’t let go of one another.
U told me that u loved me
Wasn’t sure if it was the truth,
But I could feel a little bit of honesty
In your words that later,
Brought me lots of pain:
I gave my heart and let you
Hold it however you wanted it.
I let you in my life and allowed you,
To control it however you desire.
Cause I loved you.
Most importantly, I trusted you.
But its sad to know,
All the things you said, were not true.
You never paid mind to us,
That left my mind confused,
With a question,
Like was I loved or used?
Cause you really never expressed
The way you felt.
And the only thing you said was that,
You were hurt and I,
Was wrong for letting you go.
But why stay? if I never had
A space in your heart.
And I didn’t know where
In your life I belonged.
And knowing things between us
Was never gonna get better
But get even worse.
I preferred to walk away,
And save you the trouble,
Of breaking a heart,
That as already being crushed:
A million times.
