A resurrected Heart

To my saving grace.

Never before has it seemed
The sun shine so brightly for me.
Alone I wandered,
on roads of misery,
waiting for one like you.
Alone, terrified, you carried me up
On your strong safe shoulders.
I thought all had cold hearts towards i,
but yours blazed like the sun.
So hot it was it scalded my soul,
Leaving your very mark there.
Yet it is a scar I want, and if pain
I will accept. You heated my soul,
Burnt off the ice, and reintroduced the world.
I thought none shone brighter than
The cats eye in the night.
Yet, now the sun shines brighter than ever before.
