Brotherly Love

A Prayer

Father as I look around
our Country has a need
For brotherly love to continue
if we hope to succeed.
Father as I look and see
us hurting one another
I see there has to be more love
for all of our brothers.
 
How can we live hating
tearing down and causing pain
We must understand by this
there’s nothing we can gain.
Oh help us Father help us
to love the way you do.
You have to let us see that
this is all that we can do.
 
If we want our country strong
we have to help one another
If we want our country strong
we have to love our brother
I’m praying from my soul Lord
because it hurts my heart
to see this hate dividing us
and tearing us apart.
 
So hear my prayer oh God,
and please unite us once again
Look on all this confusion
and bring it to an end.
We care about America
and we want to see things change
Give us faith, peace and love
Father we pray in Jesus Name
 
Amen.
