Dead Butterflies on the Grass
My garden is filled with butterflies
It has all different kinds
Fluttering by
Recently they’ve been over worked
They need to rest
I dont want them getting hurt
I try to calm them but I dont succeed
They continue fluttering
Increasing their speed
They’re in a frenzy now
I wish I could hush them
But to this day I’ve never learned how
Eventually their bodies fall from exhaustion
All my butterflies now lie
On the ground were they died
A garden that once used to be buzzing
Now when I see you all I feel is nothing
