I.
They met when high school days were fresh and bright
Two souls of fourteen years with dreams to fly
She gleamed with beauty, glowing in the light
Though not a handsome boy to every eye
His strength and mind were sharp, his heart was true
In time, they shared a bond none could deny
Their parents frowned, as young love often drew
A storm of rules that tried to keep apart
Two hearts whose every beat together grew
At school, they met in secret, played their part
Each stolen glance a spark to fan the flame
Through years of growth, they shared a single heart
When high school passed, they married just the same
And life for them became a steady game!
II.
Now fifty years have come, and still they stand,
Their love unbroken, like a sacred fire
A bond that time itself could not remand
Through every storm, their hearts would not retire
Each challenge met with laughter, tears, or song
Together, they would climb the mountain higher
Though youth has passed, their love is ever strong
Its roots so deep, unshaken by the years
As one, they’ve walked the path where they belong
No longer bound by doubts or fleeting fears
Their union clear, the world, with joy they face
For in their hearts, they hold what most revere
Their love endures, the rarest kind of grace
Two souls as one, forever in embrace!
