The forest we know Once formed long ago From a man whos sorrows Brought tears that could grow He wandered earth
I’ve decided to write a poem Where everything rhymed with time It would become a famous poem And the jealous would cringe As I called it mine
Who cares when you dance It’s not to the beat Your claps aren’t timed And you stomp your feet Be the first to dance
There once was a kid who balanced… on roofs, wires, and rocks he decided to raise the risks in a… where he would balance on top of a crock
You could get hit by lightning Or run over by a rock Theres so many ways one could go Its rather quite a shock You could get sucked into a vortex
The things I must do Oh the things I must do I must polish the dishes And wash my shoes The things I must do
Maybe just one more piece What could possibly go wrong It won’t really make a difference Oh dear it’s all gone...
If I don’t tip my hat When you walk by Don’t take me as being rude I’m a real nice guy please I swea… Don’t take me as a prude
Don’t step in puddles If you enjoy your leg Id rather you not Have to walk Wobbly with a peg
My shadow and I Once played hide and go seek I closed both eyes Not once did i peek I counted to the highest number
The itsy bisty spider Came out the water spout Chased away my dog And drove my neighbors out I’ve stayed in this tree
he came in guns waving “everyone get down” but when they all started dancing he left with just a frown
I set a net to catch the thief That ate my food at night Since every morning I wake up To find no food in sight When the trap went off
If I was a ghost for a day There’s so much I would do Like fill the sinks with orange ju… And take everyone’s left shoe Id paint pink polka dots
I know there must be some place aw… A place to call home that’s drive… An old log home, where friends wai… A hammock waiting on the beach nea… A t.v playing reruns of an old fav…
