Feeling Some Kind of Way
This too shall pass
someone told me
once you hit thirty
if you had not
hit your stride
then it was
never gonna be
so now that
I am
five decades old
the truth
hediously
has been exposed
a young man’s game
life has culture defined
feels like rain steady
constant downpour
cold... grey
no golden sunset ray
at twilight to adsorb
disabled... cannot
move forward
stuck
in a disruption
endeavoring
to not self destruct
feeling some kind of way
with many labels
and layers
filled with woe
so many cares
on so many days
life... mine... trial and error
did not expect it to be this way
I have stumbled being reduced
silenced and humbled
holding dispair at bey
no fire no roar
no rumble
out of place
perhaps
in the long run
an extended
passing phase
hopefully
this too shall pass
feeling some kind of way
