Hearts Path
To hold the light
captured within.
by throwing open
this beginners heart.
For more times than aught
have I closed this space.
and sought to shelter
from loves release
With fear of living
life’s true purpose
In every moment
unrevealed
Instead doubts shadow
spread upon me
silenced in voice
diminished by choice
Yet by pains strange contrast
was I released
expanding into
my full worth
And now set free
how I marvel
to lose myself
in gracious reflection
To see not the world
but my place within it
my heart now opens
and speaks to love.
