Two different souls
Two independent individuals
Two souls brought together
That were supposed to be equals
Two souls that found
Understanding on the other
Or that’s what I though
Because I was only just fodder
I was happy to talk
I was happy to be me
I was happy for the future
That i wanted to see
I invested myself
In a possible relation
Trying everything
To have a good foundation
Everything looked fine
And i could feel our connection
I lost myself
In an ocean of deception
For every truth i ever told
I got lies in return
For every feeling i shared
I got nothing in turn
I got trapped in a web
Living in a dream
Being lead without noticing
Victim of a scheme
But i notice the strangeness
On all this perfection
I found the clues in the shadows
That played with my affection
I was able to free myself
Of this play that i was living
And i ended up sad
And alone like in the beginning
