More than That
People assume it is about
the catch, the prize.
And, for some it is.
But for me,
it is so much
more than that.
It is for self-assurance,
to prove that I can,
to lift this heavy doubt
from my tomb.
It is triumph,
it is success,
it is breaking away
from all of these failures.
