Lyrical Muscles
Lyrical muscles and verbal power abounding
thunder and angel hymns together sounding
words tied together with the sinews of a rainbow
riding out the storm as the north winds blow
holding up the flow with their persistent arms
and with intensive rhymes and many charms
words seducing words with their alluring rhymes
calling to each and one another as the story climbs
restoring hope as the summit seems unreachable
with an easy climb to the top with no obstacle
a rhythmic flowing like a poetic drum
a symphonic booming and then a quiet hum
a gamut of activity to keep the mind engrossed
an elation of the spirit and wit of the uppermost
a rousing story of the climb and the spirit renewed
a binding of the words and thoughts included
a rhythmic flowing with muscles to keep it climbing
a beast of poetic acumen to keep it rhyming
then the arrival at the summit with banners waving
all hail to the poet and his rhythmic powered craving
all hail to the man with muscles in his words
and all who climb and soar oh lyrical birds
