Insurgency From the Wicked

From obscurity to infamy
the road taken by the wicked one,
the devil’s advocate at work,
the bamboozlement of the masses.
a plan to gain their trust from trickery,
from his fluent speech, good looks and
promises to cater to their needs,

his alterior motives beginning to surface,
the masses still remaining loyal
as the thinkers become skeptical,
as insurgency becomes the only way
to make a change; hence,
the oppressed becoming the leaders
by means of insurgency,

vulnerable to their new acquired freedom,
staying civil to their new philosophy and laws,
using God’s influence to make all decisions,
living up to what their insurgency was meant for,
and keeping in mind the reason why they did it,
and beware of it becoming just like the
wicked government that ruled them before.
