Retirement
As we leave our long careers.
Most of us let out a cheer.
No more deadlines to meet, or endless hours on your feet.
No boss to tell us what to do, or calling in saying we have the flu.
No holding back what you want to say.
For fear you will be fired that day.
Less bull, less crap.
Lots more time to take a nap.
Now you have more time to play.
And live life in your own way.
