Two teen girls battle for trophy today
Again a stage all are transfixed the world
And so the flag unfurled song heard aloud
Butterflies in the stomach you can hear
As the girls walked out to play ‘twas quite clear
Anxious excitement follows the screaming crowd
At Flushing Meadows amphitheater
Bannered historical first time ever
No grunts just ball whizzing over flying
Yes a sport on world stage awe inspiring
The tennis world erupted champions hailed
Glorious moments magical fairy tale
