six weeks
“O, wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind?” - Percy Bysshe Shelley
six weeks
cold morning twilights
the sun lazily rising
sleeping-in in mind
second month day two
out from a den saw shadow
said he six more weeks cold days
colder nights even... burrow
he will lie dormant year long
pensive Mother Nature is
groundhogs are foxy she knows
better than them she knows more
cloudy shadow none that day
but we love Punx’tawney Phil
no more we’ll take than six weeks
