a new day charcuterie
a new day
the solstices of nature
bring changes
a constant for ages
a nature routine perpetual
a new day
we’ve been coming out
from the cave at sunrises
across and beyond the horizon
we look a squinted gaze
curious and then shrug
even how little
even how much
even how dark
cloud formations change
we wonder a bit more
how nature works
we muttered as we
step back
a new day
after the longest darkest night
stood there against the sun solstice
strong we felt confident
a new hope to see the day through
to welcome a twilight
turn to darkness once more
we step further back
back inside our soul we look
a searching of the cave we know
in our comfort surrounding
a new day
we brew a single cup of coffee
process our thoughts our routine
our thousands of things
to be happy about
as we look near and far
a new society we saw... this time
with new sets of tools new look
a state of the art spread of color palette
thousands of colors before our eyes
we muse
the gods of Olympus smile
creative instincts rush
calmly
we mix our coffee with red wine
new possibilities to capture nature
capture life anew with new stone shapes
to mix new impressions
with wisdom of old
broad strokes for a cloudy day
light wash for an azure sky
from a thin board palette as had always been
now a new day color laden charcuterie
in a data driven society... alas cope we will
