To My Husband
Looking at the family that we have created
It is the greatest feeling in the world to me
We are so fortunate to have so much
I don’t need material things to make my life complete
All I need is your love and complete devotion
Our family means the world to me as I know it does to you
And though we have been through it all
We are still standing with a love that will never fall.
Everyone has doubted us and I have to say
I have too along the way
But as I look back I know the mistakes I have made
And the mistakes I will never make again.
But the greatest mistake of my life was you
I should have never been with you when I was
But then maybe I was suppose to be
Maybe everything happens for a reason
And maybe I had to realize that my love for you
Would never end and even in those times apart
I still loved you with all my heart
And you were still my best friend and till this day
You still are.
I guess what I am trying to say is that I love you
With all my heart weather we are together or apart
And I want to make you this vow right here and now
I will never leave you lonely
I will never hurt you
And I will always be right by your side
Nothing will ever keep us apart
Because you will always have my heart. `
