Solitary Mind

Lunar Surrender

In the moon’s radiant light
Under shadows on the dew-kissed ground
A field of flowers sways, a gentle hush
As if the moon itself were whispering secrets around

The petals, soft as whispers, unfold
Like tender wings or hands or lips that hold
The secrets of the night and whispers of the wind
As the world slumbers, lost in the depth of sleep

The scent of flowers, a heady perfume
Rises up, a siren’s call to dream
Of moonlit meadows where wild things roam
And magic happens under the silver beam

The flowers, like sentinels of twilight’s guard
Stand watch, their beauty like a deep promise
A reminder of the beauty that can be found
In stillness, in the quiet of the night’s profound

In this field of flowers, where moonbeams play
The world is hushed, in slumber’s sway
And even time itself appears to slow down
As if reality’s fabric were bending and growing

And I, a wanderer who has lost myself in this ideal scene
Find solace in the beauty that is serene
For in this field of flowers, under the pale moonlight
I find my heart at peace and my spirit free.
