Out of bed, feet hit the floor,
Shorts and flip-flops on once more.
Surfboard under arm I stride,
No news to read, just waves to ride.
The dawn breaks, the seagulls cry,
Salt in the air, and a clear blue sky.
The ocean calls, its vastness wide,
No thoughts to mull, just tides to bide.
Sands that shift beneath my feet,
A symphony of waves, rhythmic and sweet.
On the crest of the sea, I will glide,
No cares to heed, just surf to abide.
So here I stand, where dreams collide,
With the sun, the sand, the surf on my side.
No world to fix, no time to bide,
Just me, the board, and the endless tide.
