Bad News

When shadows fall and whispers sigh,
A storm of news comes rolling by.
The heart stops still, a breath held tight,
Eyes wide open, lost in fright.

Words once spoken, now etched in stone,
Moments shattered, once alone.
A path ahead, unclear, unknown,
In the silence, seeds are sown.

Yet within the dusk, a spark of light,
Through the darkness, hope takes flight.
Though bad news weighs heavy and true,
Strength emerges, born anew.

Even in despair’s cold embrace,
We find resilience, a warm embrace.
For in each tear, a lesson learned,
In every trial, courage earned.
