Tattoos all over my body

Beauty they were 1st time I saw them

Now they have turned to roots that show nothing but absolute pain

The one on my leg shows the long walks iv taken to freedom yet still I straggle

One on my neck shows the sleepless nights having fights with goats that over powered me

One  my arm shows the fights Iv fought but still I lost

The one on my breast shows the amount of people iv lost

The one on me check is an Arrow pointing to my eyes that are dead

None of my tattoos point to my heart for it turned to stone

None of my tattoos are a symbol of love for love has been nothing but an enemy

But still I stand.......
