The Flock
A cosmic collision that paved the way
When darkness clears my flock all astray
Chatter of venom, the shunning of peace
Brother fights brother and loyalties cease
Carving great voids in landscapes and hills
Polluting clear waters and swallowing pills
Slain where they stand the greatest of beast
Lain out on tables the spectacular feast
Stumbling blindly their path almost lost
Innocent children who pay for the cost
The battles proceed to a deafening roar
Young lives are wasted, the casualties soar
I know the next age as I gaze from the skies
My heart fills with love as they open their eyes
