WHEN I THINK OF YOU
When I think of you:
My heart widens
and pumps more blood.
My skin bristles and
regulates the change of
body temperature.
My sex turns on
and waits for the night to come.
My palate remembers
all the occasions in which
we have shared meals.
When I think of you:
My emotions vibrate
stronger, knowing
that we are together.
My fears are poured down and settled
knowing that
we are together.
I undress my soul knowing
that we know each other
from head to toe;
and inside-out.
I accelerate my steps
through the the journey
we have walked together;
and the one we still have to go.
When I think of you:
My reactions get excited
imagining the adventures, which
we will face in the future.
My wings spread anticipating
the voyages on which
we will fly together.
My pupils dilate
for the pleasure of enjoying
of your physical
and spiritual beauty.
My body and mind relax
since we are a couple
and we have no secrets.
When I think of you:
I think about the time
that took me to find you;
and having had patience
was a good virtue.
I know your ambitions
of an entrepreneur woman,
they will take you far away;
and we will enjoy,
your wellness.
I imagine all the poems
that inspired in you
I will write.
I imagine a future
by your side as a family,
in a good house and
with a few grandchildren,
cheering our old age.
