"Checkmate"
Upon this journey, though it may seem long;
My advice to you, is to finish strong.
Along the way, heed the winds of change;
For all that is normal, can seem really strange.
So take your chances, in a game called life;
But every now and again, be grateful for strife.
No one really knows, who it is that wins;
Yet the object remains, to stay free of sins.
From this endeavour, you will be torn;
And your very first move, was the day you were born.
You can't always pick who your family is, or where you began in life; and you may not even care where you end up. But if you come to the realization that you have the power to decide how you end up, well, I'd say you were one-up on the game....
