History Repeats
It’s laughable really, how history repeats
how I am slapped in the face
by my lack of grace
time and time again
the abuse is a seemingly infinite cycle
why are you hitting yourself?
why are you hitting yourself?
you’re only doing it to yourself
no one else can help you
they all laugh
as they watch me crack
they see me bend and break and detach
all they will ever do is laugh
at me
and my laughable repeating history
