Sunlight in her eyes

Early morning wakeup call

Dream she can’t recall

Beautiful blue skies

Warm humid the day began

Gardening the plan

Backyard paradise

Grass growing flowers blooming

Honeybees buzzing

Robins at birdbath

Hummingbirds nectar feeding

Squirrels chattering

Overjoyed her heart

To savor nature’s graces

Witness God’s faces

To the day all hail

To hear Him in birds singing

The greatest blessing

She prays for days just like these

And welcome them with a kiss

Hoping God always be near

Her faith larger than her fear
