Sonnet: Fragile Strength

Tiny fingers, delicate as gossamer threads,
Grasp at the world with a strength beyond their years.
Soft skin, like petals, over bones not yet spread,
Concealing a spirit that neither falters nor fears.

This bud of humanity, so tender and frail,
Holds within its core a resilience unseen.
Through each challenge, each struggle, it shall not fail,
Its will to thrive shining bright, calm and serene.

For though the path may be arduous and long,
This precious life force refuses to be meek.
It draws upon reserves, silent, steadfast and strong,
To weather each storm and rise, robust and unique.

Fragile in form, yet mighty in heart and in soul,
This newborn life leaves us in awe, makes us whole.
