For Sentimental Reasons

I decided to write a sad love poem. Not
the usual kind, it would lack the words
passion, emotion, love, tenderness, lies,
betrayal, moonlight, midnight, starlight,
dreams, remembrances, and longing.
I failed for obvious reasons.
