Yep, that's what I just said... Miss Place did!
Not really thinking, I noticed I was beginning to question thought.
Why was it so frequently fleeting? Well... I suppose it could be in a hurry and running late for a previous engagement because it overslept due to a late night brain outage, causing the internal alarm to malfunction. Which, in turn, didn’t signal at the appropriate time; resulting in failure to wake upon appointed schedule. And another thing; where was logic when I needed it?
Maybe... Hmmm, I know! Maybe it got stuck at the office and was forced to work late because the boss is on a total war-path due to a killer combination of chronic kidney stones, insomnia, and corrosive acid re-flux. When suffering all three simultaneously, he becomes potentially prone to sudden psychotic urges that involve snapping on the nearest available representative; it seems, for some reason, that it’s always my logic that adheres to general misfortune.

I guess there’s always a slim chance that it took a spontaneous vacation for well needed rest and relaxation because the daily stresses of everyday calculation have simply become far too much to swallow, surely threatening a spiteful stroke or angry heart attack. Often times, Reason manages to put itself out for the over all well being of others and figures that a little self-induced solitude is very well deserved and a brief evacuation is quite notably earned.
I can’t seem to find my memory anywhere...
And I’ve looked everywhere twice!
It didn’t take ages after my misplacing thought, dropping logic, leaving reason, and carelessly loosing my memory that I stumbled, dumbly, upon all of them. They were right where they had been last left; tucked neatly inside of a notebook among scores of unfinished business...
Hmmm... I really should learn to keep better track of these things!

This one is just so strange and outta my element that I really don't know what to say about it... It's just a fun little slice of prose-filled pie. I very much enjoyed the journey I had taken while writing this one... It's definitely not something that I would typically write; I'm glad I gave it a whirl!
