This evening the blank, white page is open. My nerves are on edge, while a storm forms on the horizon.
Time passing by now In a blink of the eye, In the clap of a hand, In the chirp of a bird, In a flash of light
Old friends walking on the beach, the waves bring in, memories, of carefree days;
Red sun in the morning rolling up the side of earth. The sky turned pink, as a ball of fire showed it’s strength,
Looking at my journal’s Blank page While geese fly by and honk A greeting. The red cardinals
Standing at a crossroad Between this life And the next, Heart in hand I knock on that
It is what it is Despite my wishes for it, Otherwise. You are who you are Despite my expectations,
The gift of summer Is the sound of a Creek flowing through Rocks. A blue bird perched
Twilight slides in quietly as birds fly to warm nests. Pink hues of evening reflect in the clouds. Soon the moon
On a walk, many Brown-Eye Susan line the border, before the woods. Rain clouds move closer as if to give a hug, while
Firefly shine your light, Brighten my life, Lead the way, through The meadows, in my mind. Firefly, float so high,
What if, The simple things In life, were the Most important Events.
Summertime gives A chance to grow Under the sun, Travel, to new places And have some fun.
Life is not fair at times... But of course things Change quickly down the line, We are born into a No guarantee world.
The dance of fear, Of not being enough, Stops and starts. The unknown, an Uncharted sea,
