I heard past generations In my son’s voice, I saw his life fly Into another dimension, A place, I can only imagine.
Come with me To the mountain top, Where the crest touches The sky And the air so pure,
It’s a billion stars moving and co… While we sleep. It’s one miracle after another and… We do not take the leap. It’s the great heave of nature
Oh billionaires! How you have lost your soul, lost the goal and kneel down
The white snow, thin Like sand, over The fields, blowing Across the road. My car rambles
Rolling painted deserts of the west. Shrub bushes dot sloping hillsides. Relentless sun heats up
On the brink of leaving, To go beyond These borders And say good-bye, To all you know,
What is truth? It’s a changing sky, One day clear, The next, cloudy, Holding the blue and grey,
Today, I wish the pain to go, the fatigue that I fight so. This process of aging is unkind and yet, the law of nature is a fast lane of change.
Leaves falling, Another season Decorating the earth. One red leaf In my path,
When you are not here An empty heart full of fear Arises and wonders If I will see you again. What will I do without
Driving through the small towns of America, children of all colors playing in the streets, some with tattered clothes
Photos are all I have At times, Of smiling familiar faces, My family spread out. I would travel often
Summertime gives A chance to grow Under the sun, Travel, to new places And have some fun.
Not sure what to write while the world is on the brink of another war. While others face
