Lonely Caterpillar

Butterflies a fluttering sipping on nectar and sunshine.
Clear skies make the earth a dream.
Fluttering a by except one so shy crawls back into the shade.
Wings of hues so lovely and bright,
like stained glass the sun shines through.
Every beautiful fiber and wonderfuller, for I am just a caterpillar.
To have wings so strong and light take me wherever I please,
To be exuberant, full of confidence, to fly with them in the breeze.
I’ve been in a cocoon for a long time, but I came out just the same.
Whatever it took to make them reform is why I’m lacking of change.
Tell me your secrets social butterflies, what will it take to become like you?
I’m not unhappy being a caterpillar, but it’d be nice if there were two.
